Nexus Goes to Austin
Nexus Recovery Center was down in Austin yesterday advocating for change! As the cost of treatment has gone up astronomically while Texas deals with a growing fentanyl crisis, Nexus alumni and staff were at the State Capitol talking about what we do and how increased funding can help women in recovery. Thank you to everyone who is representing Nexus during this legislative session!

PPWC Clients Learn About Post-Treatment Options
Nexus Generations recently held a “Sober Living Field Day” for our resident PPWC (Pregnant and Parenting Women with Children) clients. Typically on Mondays, the Generations team picks up our PPWC clients and brings them to their Buckner office to discuss post-treatment options. But last month, Nexus Generations held a “Field Day” resource fair, bringing in representatives from Oxford, Sheppard Inn, In My Shoes, and Exodus Ministries to answer clients’ questions and tell them more about their post-treatment programs. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Nexus campus to help the mothers we serve along their road to recovery!
