Dive in and join the third annual Duck Derby! Our popular poolside duck race fundraiser is returning on Saturday, September 19th.
Chaired by Brynea Lee, this duck-themed evening brings together playful competition and powerful purpose. Guests will be treated to a lively rubber duck race, alongside dinner, raffle prizes, games, and more! All proceeds benefit the women and families at Nexus on their recovery journeys.

One Day at a Time: Kristy’s Story
It was Kristy’s ex-partner who first told her about Nexus, prompting her to make the brave decision to seek treatment. Through the support of the Nexus staff and the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Kristy is now celebrating over two years of recovery and stays actively engaged in the recovery community through service work.
Looking ahead, Kristy’s dreams are clear: “I want to stay clean and come and tell my story so I can help the next person stay clean.”
Kristy credits Nexus for helping her turn to a new chapter in her life. “I give Nexus my life,” Kristy says. “Nexus is an amazing program, and they allow the children to be a part of the program. They have a 90-day program here, and you don’t see that very often.”
Kristy’s journey is a testament to the power of taking everything “one day at a time.”
“Nexus made me and my family grow stronger. It was a lot of trust at first but it was getting stronger everyday.”
