Outpatient Group Treatment
The Outpatient Group Treatment program provides individualized treatment adapted to clients’ needs. Composed of multiple group and individual sessions, the program is designed to assist clients in maintaining recovery wherever they reside. Counselors work with clients to identify triggers, develop coping skills, set proper boundaries, and deal with the stressors of daily life.
Residential Support Services
The Residential Support Services program provides ongoing peer support for women prior to, during, and beyond the treatment episode, and keeps them active and connected to Nexus throughout their personal journey of recovery. Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialists offer experience, strength, and hope, as well as life skills training and links to additional counseling and vocational resources.
Comprehensive Continuum of Care
Our Comprehensive Continuum of Care (3C) program focuses on providing comprehensive services to pregnant women with Opioid Use Disorder. Participants in the program are enrolled in medication-assisted treatment with a local methadone clinic and/or enter into the Pregnant and Parenting Women with Children residential program at Nexus. Through the program, they receive five hours of parenting education per week and attend support groups to help them heal from their addiction and prepare for motherhood. In addition, 3C program staff help the pregnant women they serve build a file in preparation for CPS involvement once their baby is born, including sending progress reports to CPS, and advocating on behalf on their clients.
Medication Assisted Treatment
The Medical Assisted Treatment program provides medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of some substance abuse disorders.
