Volunteer Opportunities
Nexus has flexible volunteer opportunities for those who wish to support women’s recovery! These are just some of the available activities on campus – we can’t wait to see you in our recovery community!
Weekend Story Time
Read stories and do activities with kids on campus. Help little brains grow, and give moms a quick break for self-care at the same time.
Baby Showers
Participate in monthly baby showers for new and expecting mothers at Nexus! Help staff to prepare diaper bags and new mom kits, prepare and play games with moms!
Sober Mom Squad
Take part in one of our weekly groups for
moms who are clients and alumni of Nexus! Help serve food and take part in activities with moms and children.
Campus Beautification
With our facilities constantly being in use, wear-and-tear on dorms and group areas is common. From simple projects to adding a fresh coat of paint to complex service projects, we always have a need for volunteers who are excited to roll up their sleeves!
Self-Care and Yoga Classes
Do you have a skill in wellness or self-care that you would like to share? We’d love to work with you!
Essential Skills Class
Nexus provides education for new
moms on the essentials, like bottle
cleaning, newborn bathing, self-care,
and more. Help staff to plan and
present.
Organizing Craft Supplies
Are you an organizing pro? Show off
your best KonMari skills by helping
us keep our “good deeds” and craft
storage tidy!
